Help build AI Collective from the ground up.

We are early, and we are building in stages. The first roles we are filling are the ones that shape everything else: our Advisory Council and our board.

Open now

Mentor

Guide a student team through their project from idea to demo day.

We want high schoolers to create something real.

Not practice projects or modeling exercises, but actual ventures and organizations that take on real-life opportunities.

High schoolers can be far more ambitious now, because they have access to tools that equip them to build disruptive solutions. What they need is the structure, mentorship, and resources to turn being AI native into real outcomes.

Where we are

Very early. We are designing the program now, starting with the Advisory Council and board.

Two pilots in 2027

A school-year cohort from January to June 2027, then a summer cohort in Summer 2027.

Small on purpose

We are building the capacity and structure to produce real student outcomes in the first two cohorts.

Then we expand

Once the model is proven, we expand access starting September 2027.

How we are selecting the council.

A short, structured process so every candidate is reviewed the same way, and the council is seated in time to shape the January pilot.

What we look for

  • Experience building or running something in education, accelerators or startups, or nonprofits
  • A specific contribution to the pilot, beyond general interest
  • Reliability to show up consistently through the pilot year
  • Alignment with a student-centered approach focused on real outcomes

We also balance the council across sectors so it is not drawn from a single field.

What council members commit to

  • A term through the end of the Summer 2027 pilot cohort, renewable after that
  • A kickoff meeting in December 2026, then a monthly 60-minute virtual meeting
  • Occasional review of program materials between meetings, such as the pilot design, student selection criteria, and the demo day format

Tell us how you would like to help.

Takes about five minutes. For the Advisory Council and board, please submit by Friday, October 23, 2026.

No. We are intentionally recruiting from education, accelerators, and nonprofits. Experience building programs, organizations, or ventures matters as much as technical depth.

The student selection bar is one of the first things the Advisory Council will help shape.

Yes. Check every role that interests you on the form.

After the Advisory Council is seated. We will contact everyone who has already expressed interest.

We want to prove that the model produces real outcomes before expanding. Starting small lets us build the structure and capacity to do that well.

Yes. Mentor, workshop leader, and other roles open after the council is seated, and we will keep you on our list.
